Introduction
3
Guided by our dedication to environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic prosperity, we endeavor to integrate sustainable practices into every facet of our campus community. The Green Office Program is one of several steps in creating a culture of sustainability at Binghamton University. The different actions outlined in the certification program align with Federal, State, and SUNY-wide regulations, as well as sustainable best practices and our pledge to achieve the goals outlined in the University's Sustainability Plan.

Throughout this document "Office" is used to identify the reporting area. Reporting areas can range from individual offices to whole divisions or standalone programs.

Binghamton University is committed to promoting sustainable practices and providing an inclusive environment for all participants in our Green Office Certification Program. We recognize that participants may have varying needs and are dedicated to making reasonable accommodations to ensure everyone can fully engage in and benefit from this program.
