in need of services locally and nationally, dedicated to those making theatre as well as anyone seeking personal needs. We have made this database free

in accordance with our organizational mission, vision, and values. This list will be periodically updated via our Advocacy Committee.

SCFD (Scientific and Cultural Facilities District) is the only cultural funding model in the nation that serves a region of seven counties. This broad base has allowed us to grow into the second-largest cultural funding mechanism in the United States. We fund nearly 300 organizations across our front-range urban corridor, distributing more than $80 million annually. These tax dollars provide critical operational support for small, medium, and large organizations.

Denver Metro:

Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, Denver’s leading private arts funder, has distributed over $90 million in grants since 1981 and extends grantmaking opportunities to arts institutions and organizations dedicated to fostering a just and vibrant city.

Denver Arts & Venues (DAV) is the City and County of Denver agency responsible for operating some of the region’s most renowned facilities, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Denver Performing Arts Complex, Colorado Convention Center, Denver Coliseum, Loretto Heights and McNichols Civic Center Building. We also oversee the Denver Public Art Program, funding opportunities like Urban Arts Fund, P.S. You Are Here and Denver Music Advancement Fund, implementation of Denver’s Cultural Plan and other entertainment and cultural events such as the Five Points Jazz Festival. Funds generated by the agency are put back into the community through grants for artists and arts organizations, free and low-cost cultural events, art in public spaces, venue operation and maintenance and arts education.

The Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (a.k.a. COPPR) is the nonprofit local arts agency that serves the City of Colorado Springs and the greater Pikes Peak region (El Paso and Teller Counties). The Cultural Office works to ensure that the creative sector grows in economic vitality and depth of impact, that creative workers can thrive in our community, and that the arts are leveraged to positively address regional economic development, education, cultural tourism, and quality of life.
