LEAGUE WINNERS TROPHY
40
Awarded to the player with the highest average score at the end of the seasons games. 6 games must have been played to qualify. This will not include any score from the Handicap Competition.
41
All scores are included in calculating the average.
42
43
CHRISTMAS HANDICAP WINNERS TROPHY
44
Awarded to the player with the highest average score (once handicap deducted) on the night of the Christmas Handicap. 6 games must have been played to qualify for consideration, though anyone can take part in the competition and players who have not played before will be awarded a handicap after the competition.
45
The highest and lowest scores are deducted from the table once all games in the season have been played. The handicap for the competition is then based on the average of the remaining scores and calculated in the same way as individual game handicaps.
46
This has worked well in the past so I see no point in changing it.
47
48
MOST IMPROVED PLAYER
49
Awarded to the player with most improved handicap over the season. Players must have attended 3 events to qualify.
50
Next year we will have a figure to base this on. This year we don't have any history. The method I have been testing doesn't really give a true reflection so I have abandonded it.
51
Your starting score this year is an average of your first 3 games. Your improvement is your season average minus your starting score. Simples.
52
53
DURING HANDICAP COMPETITION ONLY.
54
FASTEST STRIKE.
55
Awarded to the player who has the FASTEST ball speed displayed after achieving a strike.
56
It is up to the player to prove to the the Judge (Me) the speed by ensuring it is displayed and reported.
57
58
SLOWEST STRIKE
59
Awarded to the player who has the SLOWEST ball speed displayed after achieving a strike.
60
It is up to the player to prove to the the Judge (Me) the speed by ensuring it is displayed and reported.
