So this started out as a procrastination project on figuring out the population of furry characters within itch.io gay furry visual novels.

However, it has really become useful, both in keeping a record of animal types used in gFVNs, but also as a history of where VNs ranked, which I have utilized to expose when VNs have been inflating their vote count

A few notes:

o I try to keep this as up to date as I can, but I'm only a small owl boi who's got only so much time in the day. If you see something that needs to be corrected, dm me on discord (Kopten#9136)
I generally adjust the top 50 every week, but due to the volitility of the vns under that, i'm going to update it once a month + minor fixes when new vns are added.

o I am aware that some VNs on this list and/or their creators aren't exactly seen in the best light. This is meant to serve as a neutral knowlegebase, and inclusion on this list does not mean approval of VN content. If it's something that would violate itch.io terms of service, report it there.

o Game must be tagged furry Although there are valid entries that arent tagged, it also would take forever to comb for these games by hand. Yakuza Cats, Penguin Cafe

o Game must be something like a visual novel This is more about limiting what's not considered, as there's plenty of hybrid RPG/visual novels and I really don't want to differentiate them. No action, adventure, platformers, simulations, Twine/text, etc.Pocket Camp, Horny Chronicles

o Game should contain at least 2 furry charactersCharacter has a unique sprites in the game, important in a cg that make at least one appearance, OR is the MC. Human Cargo, Devil Express

o Game should have a strong queer male/nb presenceI don't really want to have to come up with a number, but queer male / nb characters should be strongly present, if not centered
