The Tiller Budget spreadsheet template was developed by the Tiller team to help you set up and keep track of your budget on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or custom time period. Set up your custom categories and groups on the Categories sheet. Get detailed insights into your spending and earnings with the Category Detail report. Track your account balances on the Balances sheet.

To get started with this offline template

1Make a copy of this sheet and save it in your Google Drive (File menu > Make a copy...)

2Review the Categories sheet and the Budget sheet to see the template in action with example data.

3Delete the example transactions, input your own transactions, set up Groups & Categories for your budget, set up your budget targets and start tracking!

1Link all your spending accounts (credit cards, checking accounts, and others) to this spreadsheet from your Tiller Dashboard.

2Set up your groups and categories on the Categories sheet.

4Set your budget targets on Budget sheet in the New Plan column

5Your transactions will appear automatically in the Transactions sheet. Begin categorizing them from the start of this month. Don't worry about older transactions.
