Welcome to the School Improvement Plan tool for the Anchorage School District. Under federal law and state accountability regulations, schools who have achieved a 1,2 or 3 star ASPI rating from the 2013-14 school year, must complete a School Improvement Plan. Completing the plan, however, is also open to any school or program that would like to use this planning tool to facilitate team meetings and school wide improvement initiatives. Accountability staff are on call to assist in the use of this tool and can be called upon to facilitate its use. You can reach us at the contacts below:

General Instructions: This tool is organized into tabs. Each tab represents a step in the improvement planning process. All of the steps are required to comply with accountability rules. All input boxes are shaded in a light green. If a cell contains a drop down triangle, you can double click the cell to select from a menu of options. You may also type directly into the cell if you do not find the option you are seeking. Some cells may contain help notes that can be viewed by hovering over the cell. You can delete any entry by selecting the cell then pressing "delete" followed by "return".
