5		Having been involved with many fisheries technology projects, hackathons, competitions, and events, I often field questions about who and what groups are already making fish tech.
6		I started this list to help people find active fish tech projects. It's a living document, which I try to update quarterly.
7	Projects on the list are:
8		1. Working on some aspect of fisheries (seafood sourcing, gear tracking, catch monitoring, counting fish or seabirds) and ocean wildlife in whole or in part. I included hardware and software that's being applied to fish even if that's a small part of the overall business, e.g. weatherproof cameras, but there's lots of other tech that can be repurposed for fish that's not included to make the list manageable.
9		2. Active concerns (more than a hackathon mock-up)
10	Questions & Qualifications
11		I did not include aquaculture, seafloor mapping, or all traceability tech for space reasons but open to arguments to add them.
12		I am not endorsing any of these groups or their technology. Do your own due diligence before purchasing, partnering, or investing.
