2knife22stairsThis assessment and diagnosis information is a guide written by Speech Pathologist Daniella Curtano. If any of the results of this assessment concern you, please make an appointment to see your local Speech Pathologist. The test is designed for Australian English speaking parents and teachers to improve their understanding of speech sound errors. The tool is designed to give parents and teachers a 'head start' while their children are on the wait-list to see a Speechie. Very complex speech difficulties are not discussed here and if your child's speech difficulties are too complex to be explained by this assessment, I strongly suggest you make an appointment to see a Speech Pathologist. Remember this is a speech sounds assessment and NOT a language assessment. If your child has other language difficulties, they will not be evident through this test.
