Comments: Phonics & Word Study was met through the addition of Benchmark Workshop's Phonics strand for 3rd grade. This would be an additional resource on top of Benchmark Advance materials. Due to this resource not being apart of the initial review process and it not being clear to reviewers how the two separate Core programs would be mapped out day to day within literacy blocks, 3rd grade is not recommended. • Lexile levels are also provided on the student materials and vary from week to week.
