Please note that LEAs are selected for monitoring in a given year based on frequency and risk factors.
29
30
Frequency - LEAs are selected for monitoring once in a four year cycle.
31
32
Risk Factors - If an LEA is identified by DDOE's Finance Office Risk Assessment, the LEA will be monitored, regardless of where the LEA falls in the four year monitoring cycle. Likewise, if an LEA does not meet the minimum requirements for monitoring (in a year when the LEA was monitored), that LEA will be monitored the following year, regardless of where the LEA falls in the four year monitoring cycle.
33
34
^Identified through the DDOE Finance Office's Annual Risk Assessment
35
~Identified through previous year's Monitoring Tool Percentage
36
37
** LEA will respond to School Improvement Pilot Items (52-60)
38
39
Effective in FY2024 - Any LEA that has not made a CGA submission by the September due date will automatically be monitored for that same fiscal year.
