First of all: thank you so much for making and donating to help Keep Western North Carolina Warm!

This is an initiative to collect donations for folks in western North Carolina that were affected by Hurricane Helene. We are focusing on how the knit and crochet community can help, specifically through warm winter items (knit, crochet, or store bought).

Donation Information

Check this spreadsheet to ensure your Collection Site accepts your donation, and that it accepts shipments if shipping.

Donations need to be high quality and new or like-new warm winter items. We want to be sure that the recipient can use your donation, and it will keep them warm!

Donations can be handmade or may be store-bought. Warm winter items may include hats, ear warmers, sweaters, gloves, mittens, leggings, and socks.
