This area is designated as a botanical area with many varieties of trees and plants. We will be hiking to the rocky overlook and back. Be prepared for bugs wear long pants, long shirts or repellent. Columbine should be blooming and is abundant in this canyon. WE will not be walking the road from the cars, instead we will be taking a horse trail following closer to the creek.
