Joyful, JoyfulWatering down great music just isn't right.
5
I Am The Bread Of LifeNo, you're not. "Me" hymns do not belong in church.
6
Now In This BanquetThat's the silliest piece of music I have ever heard.
7
Alleluia Alleluia Let The Holy Anthem RiseHeresy. Verse 2 "... But his death was only slumber ..." meaning Jesus was not dead but rather unconscious (swooned, fainted) when taken down from the cross, and later revived in the cool of the tomb. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swoon_hypothesis ) Fix by changing text from "ONLY" to "SHORT AS" meaning Jesus really died but death duration was minimal.
8
Let Us Break Bread Together"break bread ... drink wine ..." undermines the Real Presence. Suggested revisions: capitalize Bread, capitalize Wine. Or use "drink of the Cup".
9
Be not AfraidSame justification as for 5.

See us Lord about Your AltarVerse 3 Calls the Eucharist a Sign, at least in many OCP recources
11
Ale, Ale, AlleluiaJust listen to it. Makes circus music blush

Lord of the DanceUsing the metaphor of "dancing" to describe Jesus' Ministry could work in a Black church using very different musical styles, but combining this metaphor with such a profoundly sillydilly melody makes the thing unbearable for congregational worship. It it would give a teenager secondhand embarrasment to hear, then it likely has no place in the liturgy
13
The Mass of GloryIt's supposedly a jazzy, "spirited" mass for a Black parish, but I've never been to an African American parish that dares use such cringy music. Their MD's are more likely to write their own Mass setting that sounds like a prayerful turn-of-the-century negro spiritual
