This program should help you determine a BU date for your Alevins. Use this program after being notified when your eggs are being delivered and when

you have been told to expect the hatch. Your aquarium should be up and running at it's lowest possible temperature. Set controller so chiller light stays on.

The optional temperature table in Sheet3 might help you monitor the initial warming or cooling of your aquarium. Enter a starting date of your choosing.

All input data is in column B of this sheet and all outpurt is in Column C. Avoid typing in column C. For correcting typing mistakes remember your pal the "Edit Undo"

Compare this temperature whith the temperature of your aquarium. Adjust your controller in a direction to achieve this tempaerture or,

if you are satisfied with the temperature and the SU date. You are done. Just wait until the eggs arrive. Or choose a different SU date.

OR, use your currant average aquarium tmeperature and determine the expected BU date. If the eggs hatch before or after the expected hatch date,

change the hatch date in column B. The current average water temperature is taken from the average of all the temperaurere data from B11sheet3 forward.

To be accurate you must clear all the temperature data in sheet 3 prior to the delivery date. Do not type in B 22 of this sheet.

At this point you can either accept the cutternt SU date or change your aquarium temperature.

Enter the temperature for maximum alevin development (the final operating temperatue of your aquarium) in B21. the current swim-up date appears in c23.

If you want to keep a record of your aquarium's temperature change over a time period of 20+ days, Click Sheet 3 & enter the starting date in A11. Or Ignore.

Drag end date (bottom right corner of cell) to contract or extend date series or, enter a new starting date. This feature is useful in monitoring your aquarium

temperature response to controller changes or finding the lowest posssible temperature of your aquarium in the month before your eggs are delivered.

To see the date that your Alevins wil be x% developed (C30), enter the % developent in B 30. Note that if you enter 100% the cuurrent swim-up date appears in C30.
