You must attend both the evening training on Jan 19 AND the actual event on the 20th!

Volunteers need to be at least 18 years old, reliable and trustworthy, able to stand for 2 hours, and able to hold a stop/slow paddle.

No experience necessary! Mandatory training Friday, Jan 19th 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Dinner provided!) at First Christian Church at 602 SW Madison.

Check in between 12 and 12:30 (no later than 12:30) on Saturday, January 20th at Central Park flagging station. Vests & flags provided

You will stand at an assigned intersection between 1:30 pm through the end of the march. Return equipment to the flagging station at 3 pm

January 19th between 5:30 and 6:30 pm AND January 20th between 12 and 3 pm

Pre-Rally Chalking -- 5 Volunteers needed

Volunteers will meet at OSU and sweep thru the campus, writing on classroom whiteboards about the Rally

Bring dry erasers & chalk; meet at 7 pm at big front steps at MU

Tuesday, January 16th 5 pm to 7 pm

Central Park & Route Setup Crew -- 14 needed

Volunteers arriving at 9 am will help set up Park: garage/recylcing, tables, canopies, and chairs to prepare for the event.

(Angie is bringing truck with chairs)

Julia has to have to set up the Co-op's canopy & help with the food, so needs to split this time somewhat

Volunteers arriving at 10 am will help put leaflets on cars/houses on the route

Information/Volunteer/Speaker/Flagger Check-in/out Table -- 6 people needed

Volunteers will staff a volunteer/speaker check in table that also functions as an information table. Two separate shifts.

one person will check flaggers in/out
