I'm looking for people interested in any of those days -- you certainly don't have to commit to all days. If you just want to try racing then Sundays would be the optimum days but you can still do any day. On Saturdays, I race in the competitive C&C35 one-design fleet, where we're still working our way to the top. We'll train you for any (and probably all) crew positions so a desire to learn and have fun racing are what's needed.

We also do the NSSC Friday Fun Race Series which is really a performance cruise with a reverse start. Fridays are used to cross train crew members so you get a chance to do other positions for which you might have interest. And you can also bring out friends who might like to experience sailing. Because of increased job work loads and changes we are in need of foredeck, helm/tactician and experienced trimmer. Our greatest need is on Tuesdays which is the most competitive night. The boat is very well prepared and has a friendly and experienced core crew willing to teach. You can check out our website at http://desiresailing.org/. It needs some updating but will give some more general information. Our 2021 schedule is at: https://desire.crew-mgr.com/.
