The Diversity In Media Crew List is a public Google doc for diverse crew and people who want to hire them. I have set up this list because I want to ensure that producers are able to hire from a broad spectrum of society. There are tabs for each department, 26 in all – so please scroll across the bottom. The top row for each department is frozen, so scroll up and down to see the list. It's easy to find people by using the sort function. Individuals must populate the information themselves. We want to be sure the information is 1) accurate 2) included with their full consent/participation 3) Includes information that they want shared publicly on the internet (ie. what is on a website or resume) 4) Spelling and typo checked! If you would like to self-identify as a 'diverse' or 'under-represented' minority... then please do fill this out and feel free to leave notes in the margins or note section. This is self-identification... diversity is how you choose to define it. No one is doing any policing here. Let's all make sure our industry is representative of our communities. Diversity matters and benefits us all.
