When I looked closer all of the finishing touches are really well done. The seams are drum tight, the really large triple cap is perfectly applied, and the the foot is closed and twisted like a fuse. " -Alan (Eulogy)90"I'm only really getting a touch of leather and cedar from the foot. The predraw is is completely closed off and I cannot get a draw. " -Alan (Eulogy)95Mild-MediumMedium"The wrapper on the closed foot is giving a ton of flavor on the light. It is very salty with notes of tobacco, leather, red pepper, and cedar on the draw. I wish the draw was a bit snugger as the smoke is a little thin. " -Alan (Eulogy)92.5Mild-MediumMedium"There is a powdery aspect to the profile now but the flavors are the same as the previous third. Notes of leather, cedar, salt, tobacco, and red pepper are all still here but is subdued compared to the previous third. The draw is slightly better but the burn is pretty wonky. " -Alan (Eulogy)92.5Mild-MediumMedium"I keep having to do relights which is starting to become frustrating. The flavors are great with notes of baking spice, red pepper, leather, cedar, and a hint of floral. I'm really enjoying the drastic change in flavors but the burn and it constantly going out is a bit of a bummer. " -Alan (Eulogy)90"It started way too loose but got better as I was smoking. After about the first inch it was pretty good but the smoke was always a touch thin. " -Alan (Eulogy)87.5"I had to do a lot of touch ups and relights. It burned very wavy and went out a lot. " -Alan (Eulogy)92.5"The looks and finish were top notch. " -Alan (Eulogy)90"Sort of a mixed bag because the flavors were great and the profile shifted in really interesting ways. Due to the closed foot I am not able to discern any variance of aroma at the foot which is awesome since the wrapper smells so damn good!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)95Mild-MediumLight-Medium"The opening draws are just a little tight, even after the closed foot has opened, but I’m still able to get plenty of smoke and plenty of flavor. Initially the smoke is velvety smooth and creamy with burnt caramel and gooey custard notes. On the finish the smoke is very oily and I feel like I’m smoking a crème brûlée…I sure wish I had a cup of coffee right now!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)85Medium-StrongMedium-Full"Into the middle the smoke production has fallen way off and the flavors have become dark and acrid, completely losing the amazing opening flavors and becoming sharply peppery through the nose. After tapping the ash and essentially relighting the cigar a bit of the custard notes returned but the burnt caramel is still absent and is replaced with chicory. It’s a strange combination but it’s working as I pushed through the tough spot and livened this cigar up. One note is the smoke is very acrid at the back of my palate and really leaves my sinuses stinging." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)85StrongFull"The third portion of this cigar has been a story of frustration for me as the cigar did not want to regain lit and needed to be relit after every few puffs. As a result the flavors were sharp and bitter and unfortunately not enjoyable through the end. Likewise, I was unable to continue with the retrohale as the smoke was too sharp to be enjoyable.
" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
85"This cigar started off slightly tight and never really opened up to a degree that I would expect, particularly given the size of the cigar. It didn’t feel plugged but was just too tight and as a result I needed to double or triple puff which I’m sure caused the cigar to burn hotter than it should." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)82.5"This was a tough cigar to smoke due to burn issues. For some reason the cigar just did not want to burn and required many relights. On a positive note note the ash was very strong and needed a firm tap to knock it off." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)87.5"This was a very attractive cigar that really caught my eye and felt amazing in my hands. Performance, however, told a different story and left me frustrated and disappointed. The opening flavors, likewise, were wonderful and completely piqued my interest. Then, unfortunately, things changed and it became a struggle to finish the cigar as the flavors became rough and the performance absolutely fell off. 4/28/2024 18:42:48Randy B. randobush)147095"This handsome cigar just looks good with it ‘s smooth & minimally seamed, hot chocolate brown wrapper that is triple capped up top, and an attractive closed foot at the bottom.
The aesthetics alone entice the smoker at prelight. 5”x60 rg it looks like a handful of deliciousness. " -Randy B. (randobush)
87.5"Almost zero aroma, except for a faint tobacco smell." -Randy B. (randobush)95MediumFull"I’ll speak from just the first few draws starting out…creamy milk chocolate baking spice, cinnamon, and one fantastic draw, with an outstanding “zingy” retrohale that brings a savoriness & cedar to the show. Add in a faint citrus zest 1” in.
The finish is med-long. Damn tasty. " -Randy B. (randobush)
95Medium-StrongFull"In the second third, the palate & retrohale receive big creamy marshmallowy baking spice, with graham crackers, and the ever slight hint of citrus zest.
Midway through the second third, a bitter coffee comes in, and the retrohale has a bit more zing in it!
The burn got a little wonky, but going into the final third I have yet to correct it" -Randy B. (randobush)
90Medium-StrongMedium-Full"The final third transitions into flavors of coffee, cedar, black pepper,. The smoke output is not as billowy & bountiful, but still satisfying.
The final finish is medium to long." -Randy B. (randobush)
92.5"No issues with the draw. " -Randy B. (randobush)87.5"The burn was overall very satisfactory however in the second third, it did get wonky. Ultimately, I corrected it with the lighter after removing the band." -Randy B. (randobush)92.5"No construction issues to speak of on the cigar, It performed well throughout the smoking experience " -Randy B. (randobush)90"Pre-light should be mentioned that this was an absolutely beautiful smoke aesthetically.
There were noticeable flavor transitions through each third with this cigar, with the most noticeable being between the second and the final third.
The first and second third produced mouthful of abundant smoke and pretty pleasing retrohale. The final third produced less smoke in a much less creamy retro
Overall, I enjoyed the cigar, but not likely to invest in a box.
I’d certainly smoke it again though. " -Randy B. (randobush)

4/28/2024 19:39:47Quinn quinnpins269)147092.5"The first thing that caught my attention on this cigar was the closed foot. It resembled a pig tail style cap finish to it. Moving down the list was the vitola. It was what I would call an oversized robusto. It had a 56 or 58 ring gauge and measured about 6 inches. The wrapper was a soft brown with just a few veins around it. The cap was near seamless atop the cigar. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)87.5"The closed foot did not offer much of a glimpse into the profile of the filler. But it the wrapper had a faint aroma of earthy mineral notes. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)87.5MediumMedium"Once the foot was toasted up I took my first few puffs. I was greeted with an abundance of mineral and charred oak notes. Neither was overpowering and seemed to work well together. The smoke was light and airy and was quick to dissipate after each draw. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)90MediumMedium"The profile had shifted some during the second third. While the earthy mineral texture and aroma continued the charred oak had faded away. A fresh roasted coffee flavor came through. It seemed to go well with the slight grit of the mineral notes. The body is staying a very solid medium. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)90MediumMedium"The final third on Chunky still offered up a nice bit of the fresh roasted coffee. The retro hale did start to have a soft black pepper feel. It was just enough to stay in the background and not over power the coffee and earthy notes. It was a very ice finish on this review. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)92.5"I found the draw to be right in line with what I hope for when smoking. It did offer a bit of resistance, but not so much I felt I was fighting it. I never felt I was going to over heat the cigar. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)87.5"The burn was consistently wavy from beginning to end. It never got to the point of a problem as it was correcting itself along the way. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)90"From the double cap to the unique closed foot the construction was very well done. I did not come across any issues during the review. " -Quinn (quinnpins269)90"Out of the gate I wasn't sure about the cigar. The charred oak that I picked up was an interesting start. Luckily it faded away and the rest of the review was very enjoyable. I would consider smoking this cigar again if it was offered in a different vitola. 4/29/2024 12:52:47John A. Bostoneo)147092.5"A very large robusto, this huge ring gauge comes wrapped in a smooth chestnut brown wrapper sporting some small and medium sized veins. All this girth is topped with a perfectly made triple cap and a twisted closed foot." -John A. (Bostoneo)85"Wet peppery grass with huge amounts of earth is clearly evident on the cold draw while cocoa and leather waft into the nose." -John A. (Bostoneo)77.5MediumMedium"Lighting this cigar up was a messy affair. The closed food with the large, twisted knot at the end proved to be difficult to get an even light. Once I was past that point big, sweet chocolate and leather notes punched me in the face as if it might be infused. Further in, sour earth flavors with black pepper come into play creating a “wet basement” type profile. This third was hard to get through given the medium bodied flavors it provided." -John A. (Bostoneo)77.5Medium-StrongMedium-Full"Moving into the second third, the medium bodied profile of soured earth, black pepper, and now char are in full effect. The strength of this cigar temporarily subsides as more of the infused chocolate flavor comes to the forefront, still making me a little queasy. Nearing the end of this third, the cigar canoes and will simply not stay lit, no matter how much fire I put to it, the tobacco will not combust. " -John A. (Bostoneo)70Medium-StrongMedium-Full"Unable to finish due to construction & burn issues." -John A. (Bostoneo)87.5"Draw seemed to be in the right direction." -John A. (Bostoneo)75"This cigar was all over the place and eventually canoed and burnt out, unable to maintain combustion. " -John A. (Bostoneo)75"Whilst the draw did benefit from the construction, I feel that the way this cigar burned poorly was due to the tobacco being used and placed in the bunch." -John A. (Bostoneo)75"This cigar started and ended horribly. The flavors it provided felt artificial as if it were infused with a chocolate casing. The construction fell flat as the cigar had numerous burn issues and eventually ceased burning properly. With this stick the only sample I had, I would not suggest this cigar to anyone, unless you like infused cigars maybe? There are plenty of other cigars out on the market that could easily surpass this experience." -John A. (Bostoneo)3001000000000

The aesthetics alone entice the smoker at prelight. 5”x60 rg it looks like a handful of deliciousness.
GoodAlmost zero aroma, except for a faint tobacco smell.ExcellentMediumFullI’ll speak from just the first few draws starting out…creamy milk chocolate baking spice, cinnamon, and one fantastic draw, with an outstanding “zingy” retrohale that brings a savoriness & cedar to the show. Add in a faint citrus zest 1” in.
The finish is med-long. Damn tasty.
ExcellentMedium-StrongFullIn the second third, the palate & retrohale receive big creamy marshmallowy baking spice, with graham crackers, and the ever slight hint of citrus zest.
Midway through the second third, a bitter coffee comes in, and the retrohale has a bit more zing in it!
The burn got a little wonky, but going into the final third I have yet to correct it
Very GoodMedium-StrongMedium-FullThe final third transitions into flavors of coffee, cedar, black pepper,. The smoke output is not as billowy & bountiful, but still satisfying.
The final finish is medium to long.
GreatNo issues with the draw. GoodThe burn was overall very satisfactory however in the second third, it did get wonky. Ultimately, I corrected it with the lighter after removing the band.GreatNo construction issues to speak of on the cigar, It performed well throughout the smoking experience Very GoodPre-light should be mentioned that this was an absolutely beautiful smoke aesthetically.

4/28/2024 19:39:47Quinn (quinnpins269)1470GreatThe first thing that caught my attention on this cigar was the closed foot. GoodThe closed foot did not offer much of a glimpse into the profile of the filler. But it the wrapper had a faint aroma of earthy mineral notes. GoodMediumMediumOnce the foot was toasted up I took my first few puffs. I was greeted with an abundance of mineral and charred oak notes. Neither was overpowering and seemed to work well together. The smoke was light and airy and was quick to dissipate after each draw. Very GoodMediumMediumThe profile had shifted some during the second third. While the earthy mineral texture and aroma continued the charred oak had faded away. A fresh roasted coffee flavor came through. It seemed to go well with the slight grit of the mineral notes. The body is staying a very solid medium. Very GoodMediumMediumThe final third on Chunky still offered up a nice bit of the fresh roasted coffee. The retro hale did start to have a soft black pepper feel. It was just enough to stay in the background and not over power the coffee and earthy notes. It was a very ice finish on this review. GreatI found the draw to be right in line with what I hope for when smoking. It did offer a bit of resistance, but not so much I felt I was fighting it. I never felt I was going to over heat the cigar. GoodThe burn was consistently wavy from beginning to end. It never got to the point of a problem as it was correcting itself along the way. Very GoodFrom the double cap to the unique closed foot the construction was very well done. I did not come across any issues during the review. Very GoodOut of the gate I wasn't sure about the cigar. The charred oak that I picked up was an interesting start. Luckily it faded away and the rest of the review was very enjoyable. I would consider smoking this cigar again if it was offered in a different vitola. 80https://drive.google.com/open?id=1M8NCq2hmMAYsGhNg7qlnupYNAvQ3QUQl, https://drive.google.com/open?id=12aUH8wbTuBXxnRU8M3WJa90v7i6rNrPY, https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dhVkzWIsFC9iOtKlRBwOli8E4CC3P517

4/29/2024 12:52:47John A. (Bostoneo)1470GreatA very large robusto, this huge ring gauge comes wrapped in a smooth chestnut brown wrapper sporting some small and medium sized veins. All this girth is topped with a perfectly made triple cap and a twisted closed foot.FairWet peppery grass with huge amounts of earth is clearly evident on the cold draw while cocoa and leather waft into the nose.PoorMediumMediumLighting this cigar up was a messy affair. The closed food with the large, twisted knot at the end proved to be difficult to get an even light. Once I was past that point big, sweet chocolate and leather notes punched me in the face as if it might be infused. Further in, sour earth flavors with black pepper come into play creating a “wet basement” type profile. This third was hard to get through given the medium bodied flavors it provided.PoorMedium-StrongMedium-FullMoving into the second third, the medium bodied profile of soured earth, black pepper, and now char are in full effect. The strength of this cigar temporarily subsides as more of the infused chocolate flavor comes to the forefront, still making me a little queasy. Nearing the end of this third, the cigar canoes and will simply not stay lit, no matter how much fire I put to it, the tobacco will not combust. UnsmokableMedium-StrongMedium-FullUnable to finish due to construction & burn issues.GoodDraw seemed to be in the right direction.BadThis cigar was all over the place and eventually canoed and burnt out, unable to maintain combustion. BadWhilst the draw did benefit from the construction, I feel that the way this cigar burned poorly was due to the tobacco being used and placed in the bunch.BadThis cigar started and ended horribly. The flavors it provided felt artificial as if it were infused with a chocolate casing. The construction fell flat as the cigar had numerous burn issues and eventually ceased burning properly. With this stick the only sample I had, I would not suggest this cigar to anyone, unless you like infused cigars maybe? There are plenty of other cigars out on the market that could easily surpass this experience.30
