1. Each approved project will be granted NTD 75,000 for operating expenses. The fund cannot be used for personnel expenses and equipment fee, and should comply with MOE’s regulations for the use of funds. Any surplus upon the completion of the project, should be paid back to the Center.

Inclusion of the grant1. Income related: Including salary for work-study students or temporary staff’s labor(176-264/hr), labor and health insurance, lecture hourly rate, advisory, counseling and guidance fee, etc.

2. Travel allowance: Including domestic traveling expenses, fare, freight, and lodging fee, etc.

3. Teaching and learning: Including meal expenses (Maximum: NT100/per meal/per person), miscellaneous costs, printing fees, and equipment maintenance charges, etc.

Exclusion of the grant1. Overseas travel allowance.

2. Books and CDs/VCDs/DVDs/Blu-ray Disc, etc.

3. On-campus rental fee. Subsidy of off-campus rental fee will only be approved with clear explanations.

4. According to the MOE's regulations for the use of funds, the funding from this program cannot pay certain subsidies such as salaries for principal investigator, advisory, counseling and guidance fee, etc., to the internal faculties and full-time staff (including staff from related institutes such as hospital). The internal faculties and staff can receive lecture hourly rate for giving lectures.

Since the billing and reimbursement are conducted in Chinese in NTU, it is recommended that you commit an assistant with professional proficiency in Chinese to handle this duty if you receive the grant.
