Description of Roles
14
But first... what is a point person?A point person will help lead and organize their group so that everyone stays on the timeline and feels supported. This may include scheduling meetings with their group so that they can carry out on their specific tasks. They will also be the ones who communicate with ExecBoard and the rest of StuCo so that everyone is on the same page. The Co-Presidents will check in periodically with the Point Person to support them and ensure all members are contributing to the end goal 💛
15
BudgetThese one/two people will be in charge of organizing the budget for Plenary which needs to be submitted by September 22nd. But do not fear, the "Merch" & "Food" groups will be in charge of finding the two most expensive items. You will need to think of any additional costs we may be missing and to organize all of these into an Excel Sheet so we can submit it to the Co-Treasurers. Of course, we also need to stick to our budget of $7000. Lastly, you will need to communicate closely with other groups as well as your own team to ensure that all things are ordered by October
16
FoodThis includes communicating with Student Engagement and the Budget point person in order to ensure a variety of snacks that will be ready for plenary. This includes transporting the snacks as well and facilitating its set up & distribution to students.
17
MerchHelping with merch includes coming up with an estimate by September 24th to present as part of the budget. This also includes choosing a design that will appeal to students while also balancing affordability and feasible delivery times.
18
Physical LogisticsPhysical logistics is basically preparing all the logistics that need to be secured ahead of Plenary. This includes EMS reservations, Wifi Spots, Facilities, and BLAST. Point person will need to be in communication with StuCo to ensure everyone is on the same page.
19
AdvertisingAdvertising includes the creation and distribution of materials to promote Plenary, explain resolutions in an informative manner, and to announce Plenary deadlines. A good handle of Canva or just a creative background in general is very much desired!
20
WorkshopsWe will be hosting two Plenary workshops where we help resolution writers understand the process. If you are passionate about the Constitution and/pr don't mind reading the resolutions and giving feedback, then this is the job for you! You can also help us give the actual presentations which would include being present the day of the workshops which are: Tuesday, September 23rd and Tuesday, October 7th from Time: 6-7, Location: Lutnick 002 (video viewing room, Shrek room)

Day-Of Set Up Logistics (A.k.a Stage Manager)If you are an organizer or the type of person who makes a minute by minute itinerary for vacations and has a Plan B, C, and D then this is the job for you! These folks will help plan the day-of logistics ahead of time, including assigning all of StuCo to different roles (whether it be handing the mics, distributing merch, counting quorum, at Sharpless or at GIAC). These folks will also problem-solve day-of so that if anything goes wrong then they can redirect the rest of us to stay on track.
