Candidates are evaluated on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service involvement, leadership, and financial circumstances. Essay Prompts (250-500 words): #1 The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in the U.S. faces a variety of challenges, both recently and historically.
