HARP MTN will be rescheduled when trail conditions make for a more safe adventure!TBDTBD9:00 AMMeet at 9 am at Fred Meyer Muldoon to carpool - park near garden entrance. The hike to Harp Mt starts at the very end of Highland Road, past the turn to South Fork trail. The hike is mostly up with a fair amount of elevation gain (2600 ft over a mile and a half) and, with time for lunch at the top, will last about 4 ½ hours, not including driving time. The plan is to be back at Fred Meyer Muldoon about 3:00 pm or so. Mt BaldyWED5/16/20189:15 AM
Hikers should still be prepared and bring grippers along with all the other hiking gear.

Meet at Freddy’s at 9:15 garden side or trail head at 10:00.

After climbing Baldy some of us may want to proceed toward Black Tail for a scenic ridge walk.

Plan to ride with other people that will hike the same distance if not willing to continue on. Also it’s spring hiking and trails are wet and muddy, wear appropriate shoes.

Difficulty: Moderate - Distance: 2 miles plus if going on ridge walk - Elevation Gain: Less than 500ft - Type: Out-and-Back

Take Eagle River Loop to Skyline, and follow the road as it swichbacks going up and eventually ends with parking alongside the road. Once on the ridge hike for half a mile and you'll see Blacktails, a steep incline that will take you to even better views.

GRANDVIEW TO ECHO CANYONTUES7/3/201810:00 AMPRE POSITION CARS at Echo Canyon, others meet at Storck Park to carpool to Grandview. This hike is from off of Honey Bear, etc. to the base of McHugh peak, curving around and down to Echo Canyon trailhead. It is challenging because of so little parking at the start, so will require arranging cars at both ends. Confirm with Lyn that you plan to join the group - cars need to be prepositioned AND there is risk the hike will be changed due to weather.Lynette King 9451tigger@gmail.com 575-9517
