Grant Opportunities Grants vary from opportunities for businesses to States and Local Governments to apply for. They range from truck idling to charging infrastructure.

Federal Aid- HighwaysChanges made to the Federal Aid-Highways Agency. Some are applicable to States.

RailOutlines investments for Amtrak National Network and new service and dedicated funding to the Northeast Corridor.

Public TransitInvestments to address public transit infrastructure needs.

MiscellaneousRequirements for each State and metropolitan planning organization to spend a minimum of 25% funding available for transportation planning and transportation centers of excellence provisions.

Grant Opportunities Grant opportunities for local governments and businesses. They vary from Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Programs to grants for EE in schools.

Grid Infrastructure and Resiliency Appropriates money to the State Energy Program, provides assistance with State Energy Security Plans, requires State regulators to consider establishing rate mechanisms to allow utilities to recover the costs of promoting demand-response practices in order to encourage electrical utilities to promote the use of demand-response practices, and more.

Rare Earth/Minerals Various initiatives and programs geared towards energy and minerals research, as well as geologic and earth mapping.

Hydrogen Creates and appropriates money for clean hydrogen hubs and redefines and expands DOE's clean hydrogen classifications and programs.

Carbon CaptureEstablishes 4 regional direct air capture (DAC) hubs, appropriates $310 million and establishes a grant program for state and local governments to procure and use products derived from captured carbon oxides, and has other loans and permitting porovisions.

Nuclear Requires the DOE to develop a report on the feasibility for using nuclear energy and creates a new program of subsidies.

HydropowerHydro electricity incentives along with appropriations for updating current hydropower projects.

MiscellaneousHas various provisions and investments, including natural gas pipeline grants, exploring clean energy on old mining lands, and port infrastructure investments.

Energy Information AdministrationDirects states to consider measures to promote greater electrification of the transportation sector, and requires the Sec. of Energy to complete two studies.
