Participation is required in a public school classroom field experience, assigned by School and Field Services

To be eligible for a Michigan Teaching Certificate, graduates must be in compliance with all legal and curricular requirements

Michigan Tests for Teacher Certification for PK-3 is #117-120, and for 3-6 is #121-124 one of these tests must be passed

Requirements for Major Standing in Elementary Education

EED 2000 or 2001 with a minimum grade of B (or 3.0)

MTH 0662 with a minimum grade of C (or 2.0) or placement beyond MTH 0662 with ACT or SAT scores

A cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
