Hi all, Thanks for participating! The idea is to draw or paint the graveyard of Trump's budget. He is killing many of the government programs that make America awesome -- the National Endowment for the Arts, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, EPA programs, and more. Please choose a program from the list to the left, look it up to see what it does for Americans, and draw it's gravestone. Then email me a scan of your work (at projects.frances@gmail.com), and I'll collate these and post on Instagram (@Trump_Budget_Graveyard, #KilledByTrump). If we can get submissions for all the cut programs, I'll lay this out alongside the budget text as an annotation booklet that we can send to our Congressional representatives.

Oakland, CAYesThis is about putting a noose around much of the United States federal government and hanging it until it shakes with life no more. In the name of reining in waste, it rains pain and suffering amongst the Americans who already are the most vulnerable. It must be remarked that many of these programs are really small budget items in the greater scheme of things, rounding errors in the federal budget. The purpose is to send a message, not to save money. - Dan Rather
