It has a rustic looking dark brown wrapper that is toothy and oily. The surface has some prominent veins and the cap is nicely applied." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)87.5"The pre-light aroma is actually very faint. I get nothing at all form the wrapper itself. The foot is still extremely faint, but does have some floral an grass notes. Those same floral and grass notes are also present on the cold draw." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)92.5MediumMedium-Full"This cigar hits with unique and bold flavor right away. It has some sweetness mixed with gentle spice. Something like nutmeg mixed with brown sugar. There are also elements of cocoa powder and a retrohale that is sweet, with just a little bite in the nostrils at the end." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)95MediumMedium-Full"The middle continues to deliver unique and delicious flavors, along with a few nice transitions. The sweetness is still very much in the foreground, but now is darker. Like a burnt sugar or dark caramel. The cocoa powder flavor is mixing nicely with The notes of baking spice, and there is an interesting salty finish on the tongue from each puff. The retrohale is very unique. It almost seems like butterscotch and black pepper." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)95Medium-StrongMedium-Full"This cigar just keeps delivering flavor after flavor. The sweetness and spice is now joined by some subtle floral characteristics. The retrohale is smooth and yet still intense. As strange as it sounds, it hits me like a Ramon Allones Superiores, but with a San Andreas wrapper." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)85"This might be the only area that needed improvement. The draw wasn't too tight, but it seemed to be restricted enough that the smoke output may have been diminished. The flavors were so good, I wanted more smoke to help deliver them." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)95"This cigar burned so well. The burn line wasn't perfect, but from this kind of wrapper, you rarely get the clean white ash and thin black burn line. But it required to touch ups or attention to the burn of any kind." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)95"Although the wrapper looked rustic, that is to be expected from this variety (I am assuming it is San Andreas). But the cigar was cleanly rolled and had a nice box press to it. It was well made." -Matthew T. (A Huge Nerd)95"This was one of my favorite blind reviews ever.
