Jay Street CollectiveErin Eckler(518) 986-9894https://jaystcollective.com/Low retail footprintRecycle, reuse, and heritage are common themes in her work. The findings in her jewelry are sourced from her grandmother’s Sarah Coventry costume jewelry she used to sell. The leather is scraps from Townsend Leather,
a company run by members of her family on her husbands side. Many of the embellishments on the fiber items
are sourced from recycled clothes, some of them beloved items from her personal collection. She likes to
utilize and celebrate items typically discarded.

Match StudioMarika + Charles Contompasis1080 Catalyn St., 2nd Fl., Schenectady, NY 12303518.344.7092https://www.marikacharles.com/Clothing and Home DecorOur complete control of design and production processes allows us uncompromised use of artwork and color while helping us reduce the waste of valuable resources.

It starts with our patented process Phly-Dye, which allows us many advantages over traditional garment dyeing and printing processes, including limited wasted fabric, dye and energy.

From there, we make a conscious effort to further limit waste. We make our own water-based colors + dyes, and only in the amounts we require. We dye + print our garments whole, leaving no unused scraps of dyed fabric. We make our garments to order, specifically based on the requests of our retailers.

It all adds up to a company that creates only what it needs.
