Copy and edit your own version of this comprehensive Digital Content Inventory and Priorities spreadsheet. Its objective is to help institutions identify and describe the nature of digital content, whether born digital or digitized, across their institution or within a particular department. Begin with the Inventory tab to establish a baseline for digital content in your institution. Once the inventory is complete, use the prioritization tab to help plan your digital preservation projects. Each column item requiring elaboration provides a description in the comment text if you hover over it. Please do provide feedback about the hover text, either tab or other requirements and questions to tdl-digipres@utlists.utexas.edu (membership is open). This is meant to be a living document and will benefit from your community feedback.
