MondayIn school suspension for last Friday's behavior, saying a bad word on the playground

WednesdayHad to call Principal for his behavior, issues on the playground that spilled over to lunch time. Was taken to another room to finish his lunch. He got written up.

ThursdayWanted phone to play game, I said no multiple times, he knocked over a box and some papers on my desk. I asked him to pick it up and he would not. He asked me to play with my phone and said yes, only for one hour, and only if he would pick up the mess he made. He picked up the mess and started playing with my phone. After an hour of having my phone we transitioned away from the phone and he got upset and started throwing stuff and calling me names. He picked up the remote control and started watching tv

FridayMs. Schreffler asked him to spit out some candy that he had in his mouth. He threw a chair in class. He was moved to ALC (In School Suspension) for the rest of the day. Mr. Burgess will call. NOTE: PJ ran out of medication on Tuesday. Wednesday we had an appointment with his doctor. Getting medicine today.

IEP meeting to add Therapeutic Intervention for Payton. (Ms. VanErven sent a message a while back let you know that he is qualified for the service after I met with our Positive Behavior Specialist. I will need to schedule a meeting to add this service to his IEP.)

Called Irby Psy to get appointment for testing, went through website to add to waitlist, got email

Called Health Connect and they do not do testing

Called Integrated Health on Getwell in Southaven, added to waitlist which is around 18 months

WednesdayMet with Health Connect for an assessment

After talking with Health Connect, they gave me a referral for testing. They gave me the number to Memphis Children's Clinic. I called them and they gave me the number for Dr. William Little (Payton had testing with him 3 years ago). I asked for another referral and they gave me the number for Behavioral Science Consulting and no one picked up.

Beth contacted Ms Dukes at the school. She told her about using football terms in
therapy with Payton. She stated she would try that as well.
I made contact with Canopy today. Unfortunately, the in-home services only accept Medicaid.

Sent Facebook message to Joy Traylor and Gretta, she works there and I saw her from a distance.

Called Health Connect America to get an email of the assessment they did this morning.

Reached out to Beth, Ms. Schreffler and Ms. VanErven for help getting Payton to do his homework.

Gave Nintindo switch to Payton after he had a good day at school

Mom got Payton to do his homework (I tried a few times) and after he completed it he got his Nintindo switch back to play for 1 hour

After Payton did his homework he came to me to look up a Nike Michael Jordan (red) sweatshirt. We found it and he told me he wanted me to buy it. I said, since it was over $50, that it would have to be a Christmas gift. He still wanted it now.

Got email from Beth "Call Journey to New Beginnings 662 349-2979. Ask about making an appointment for testing with Dr. Keller. Request intake and testing to be completed and a report forwarded to me. I believe she will be able to get you all in sooner!"

I called Journey to New Beginnings and Dr. Keller can see Payton for testing around the 2nd week of March, I will have to fill out the paperwork via email then call for an official appointment.

Spoke with Doctor, they are increasing Depakote (if that doesn't help anger control then will use seratonin next). Needs Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy if he has an autism diagnosis from the testing in March

ThursdayPayton came home via car rider - via mom and Mary today. Mom gave Payton device to play with, took a break to do homework gave device back to him. When it was time to go to bed we had the usual issue of Payton not giving is device back to us. We finally took device around 9:30 pm and Gretta and I went to our bedroom and locked the door. Payton started banging, kicking the door, cussing and yelling at us for a good 25-30 minutes, he finally stopped. His door was locked Friday morning.

Picked up new prescription for Payton (Depakote 500)

Late this afternoon MK let Payton have her phone because he was being good and MK and PJ went to Rack Room Shoes. Payton was looking at shoes on the Rack Room Store page then tried to log into a game, he was doing seomething he wasn't supposed to be doing.

Beth says inpatient care or intensive outpatient care may be the best option at this time. He was answering G's question about hitting.
