Starting to bill insurances more for the services provided by SIHB regardless of the patient's background, collecting co-pays, etc. Jan 23: According to KUOW, the health board will cut the number of substance abuse treatment beds at its Thunderbird Treatment Center. Abigail Echo-Hawk told KUOW that many health board programs rely on federal funding, including programs for traditional Indian medicine, meals, health care, and a safe space for about 90 mostly homeless elders.

We are now attempting to address it with new negotiation rules but IHS can't meet with us. Need rules done before March but IHS can't meet. If this isn’t resolved, next week I’ll be going to my credit union to take a loan to cover my bills (student loans, mortgage, groceries, car payment, insurance, gas, etc.).
