have when they leave Kindergarten in order to be successful in 1st grade.

Fundementals of Good Health: demostrate basic hygiene routines independently, discuss the role hygiene plays in keeping us healthy, identify how to use medicine safely, and describe the people, practices, and tools that keep us healthy.2. Body Awarness: descibe function of body parts and organs and relate how health practices support development and function.

Safe Practices: demonstrate and describe the importance of rules to insure safety, explain how to modify behavior to ensure safe practices, desribe the people, practices, and tools that keep us safe, fire safety, playground safety, and severe weather safety.4. Gross Motor Skills Control and Coordination: engage in independent large motor skills with control and coordination, demonstrate coordination, demostratecoordination of purposeful body movements, start and stop with control, and perform movement skills in team and group games.6. Balance and Strength: exhibit balance, strength, stamina, and agility while engaged in active play, and use master gross motor movements to learn new skills and engage in new activities. (balance beam, gallop, catching, throwing)

Fine Motor Skills, Strength, Coordination, and Muscle Control: use dexterity to manipulate objects (sissors, clay, string beads, open and close markers, trace, zip, snap, button, tie), demonstrate control and strength, perform clapping and hand games with or without a partner (Miss Mary Mack), and put together puzzles using picture and shape clues.8. Eye/Hand Coordination: handle books correctly, measure amount of sand and water using tools, and copy a structure from a model using a variety of block types and sizes.

9. Use of Tools: demonstrate control with writing and drawing implements to draw pictures, letters and words, use tools with control and skills to perform basic tasks, and choose appropriate tool for specific task.
