41 | Eep' always seems like she's socially akward. Well, even more than a Goblin would, anyway. She speaks very softly and lightly, almost seeming meek and skittish, [Which is where the nickname came of, as a woman of the college mistook her name for 'Eep' instead of Epe upon entry, and she didn't push it] but this is all a part of her ruse. Although she's not really a loud or forceful person to begin with, she's suppressed her personality like that in order to be taken less seriously. As part of her 'oracle' persona, she found being not taken seriously works to her advantage. Once she makes her 'prediction' her mark will either, A: Not take the prediction seriously, and gain an almost defiant mood about whatever she predicted, leading them right into traps she or someone she's working for placed. Or B: They do believe her, and avoid a prediction that will never happen, thus leading them down into a similar type of trap. Thanks to all the lying and trickery, it's really hard to read the 'true' Epe. In truth, she's really just trying to do well for herself in the world. She's good-natured and unfortunately there's not a lot of work for a good-natured trickster like her. Especially when nobody knows that is the case. She's almost glad she got into the College (Read: Kicked out of Zeerves), because it means she's at least doing some good and getting paid for it. | Really all Epe is currently interested in is keeping up the 'Seer' persona, hoping it's all she needs to succeed. Or at least keep her from poverty. | |||||||||||
