District Accountability Committee (DAC)Julie Shapiro Superintendent / Laura Cotsapas Per Board Policy GP-11, Board Committee Structure (pg 40): - Fulfill statutory requirements and the Bylaws of the Summit School District RE-1 District Accountability Committee (DAC).
- Provide advice on DAC-specific topics as requested by the Board outside of formal reporting requirements.
- Collaborate on other issues as requested by the Board.

District Advisory Personnel Performance Evaluation Council (formerly 1338 Council)N/ASuperintendent / HRPer Board Policy GP-11, Board Committee Structure (pg 41-42): -Fulfill statutory requirements.
- The use, engagement, and selection of this committee can ensure that various stakeholder groups are represented and that they are in alignment when implementing local decisions regarding the evaluation of licensed personnel.
- Consult with the Board as to the fairness, effectiveness, credibility, and professional quality of the educator performance evaluation system and its processes and procedures, in accordance with state law.
- Conduct a continuous evaluation of the personnel performance evaluation system and its processes and procedures.

- Assist the Board in ensuring the public’s trust by remaining good stewards of public funds and ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the District’s finances.
- Assist the Board by providing timely expertise and decision-making support in the District’s financial management practices.
- Encourage continuous improvement of, and foster adherence to, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Specific duties and responsibilities of the Finance Committee as noted in Board Policy GP-11
