Please follow the following guidelines when completing your budget request:

Step 1
Complete the 'General Information' tab regarding your organization.

Step 2
In the five 'Event-Program' tabs, list the event/program you are requesting funds for. Please describe the event or program to increase the Committee's understanding of the expenditures.

Step 3
In the 'Miscellaneous Supplies' tab, list any administrative/general expenditures (e.g. copies, office supplies, etc.) that may be needed.

Step 4
Confirm that your totals on the 'Summary' tab match each Event's subtotal.

Step 5
Save file as "ORGANIZATIONNAME.xls"and email completed budget to senatefinance@smu.edu by Tuesday, November 10th at 11:59pm.

Late Budgets will be penalized as follows:

10% reduction of monies funded
