UK Ultimate Generic Risk Assessment Document

This document provides a starting template risk assessment for people involved in organising ultimate - at a tournament, club or possibly as a coach.

It cannot be considered to be complete for all situations, so you should review each area in the context of the ultimate you are playing, organising, etc.

1. Review the lists of hazards in the Playing Ultimate and Tournaments section

2. Note any additional controls that are in place or required to the hazards already noted

3. Review the list in context of your situation and note any additional risks relating to play and complete the other columns. For example - it is not a general risk when playing ultimate, but for your circumstances you might need to consider whether you are playing close to a road, the potential implications, and the controls you might put in place to minimize the risks
