38	Sanctuary Forest Scholarship	To support the college education of exceptional Humboldt or northern Mendocino County high school students. There are six $1,000 awards available through generous donations from the Maria & Robert Kelly Stewardship, the Dininiick family (producers of Humboldt/Mendocino Lumber for four generations), the local business community, Humboldt Redwood Company and friends of Sanctuary Forest & Rondal Snodgrass. 40	Soroptimist International of Noyo Sunrise Scholarship	A $2000 scholarship to a young woman seeking further education to pursue a career that will improve the lives of women and girls. Financial Need is the primary criteria followed by Academic Excellence, Community Involvement, and School Activities. A 2021 Local Scholarship application, including a high school transcript, and two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, coaches, and/or employer that demonstrate the student’s determination and willingness to work hard in and out of school.	$2,000	Friday 27th March
