Learn how to teach students digital citizenship and literacy with Common Sense Education’s innovative resources and join a community of innovative educators who believe in the power of technology to transform learning and who know that digital citizenship is an essential foundation for effective digital teaching. Certified New York City teachers will share with you a full K-12 curriculum as well as a suite of interactive game-based learning experiences that they’ve used in their classrooms. This opportunity prepares teachers with the tools and resources their school will need to meet Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) and principal's compliance checklist requirements. This session meets the "learn" requirement of Common Sense Educator Recognition.
