In order to help teachers address these important topics, EVERFI has launched Get Digital, a Partnership with Facebook and the Ignition Digital Wellness and Safety course. This 6 lesson web-based curriculum uses animation, videos, interactive simulations and real world scenarios to teach students how to leverage technology in a safe and responsible manner, as well as learn screen time vs offline time. Each EVERFI course is gamified and auto graded, as well as cost-free for schools to use. This session will give you the best tips and tricks to using the platform with synchronous & asynchronous learning. Along with the digital courses EVERFI also provides offline, supplemental lesson plans and ongoing technical/curriculum support. Each DOE educator & student has EVERFI account access through TeachHub, and you will walk away with lesson plans and digital content to support virtual, in-person and hybrid learning.
