9
10
Race Format
11
28 racers at each event split into two classes: GT4 and GT5. GT4 cars will often be close to the quickest of their type with GT5 cars being close to the slowest. Drivers are only racing against those in their class.

The Championship
22
There will be 2 individual championship tables for GT4 and GT5. Points are awarded based on finishing position in class and drivers will remain in the same class throughout the championship.
23
Drivers will be able to drop their worst score meaning only their best 4 rounds will count to their overall total.
24
25
Disconnections
26
Everyone who starts the race will be classified and therefore receive points. If a racer disconnects he will be classified in 14th position, with the next person who disconnects classified in 13th, and so on.
27
28
Lapped Cars
29
Standard multi-class endurance racing rules apply - cars being lapped do not have to move out of the way for faster cars coming through, but should also not actively defend their position and try to slow down faster cars.
30
Cars being lapped should stick to the racing line so faster cars can predict where they will be and make overtaking easier, though if a lapped car wants to move well out of the way safely that's fine. If in doubt, stick to the racing line.
31
Drivers in faster classes must still wait if they take out a slower class driver, and they are not permitted to intentionally slow down to affect the race in a slower class.
32
33
Pit Stops
34
1 mandatory pit stop must be made per race. A pit stop here is defined as simply driving straight through the pit lane.
35
The first time you may enter the pit lane is once you have started lap 3, and you are not permitted to enter the pit lane once you have started your final lap.
36
GT5 drivers will have to keep in mind that their final lap will be variable, however some leniency will be shown as long as no advantage is gained from a late pit stop.
37
38
Vehicle Upgrades
39
All cars must have one of the following wheels on their cars for each round (all from the Tuner category) - Cosmo | Fujiwara | Rally Master
40
All cars must have the following horns on their cars for each round - GT4: Clown Horn | GT5: Stock
41
42
Damage
43
All competitors must use the pit lanes provided to fix vehicle damage and must not respawn unless in an unrecoverable position. Respawning after entering the pit lane is permitted if there are issues with wrenches and damage needs to be fixed.
44
45
Start Procedure
46
Once the race starts all drivers will get off the grid and wait for their name to be called out in starting order, with all GT4 cars at the front and all GT5 cars behind.
47
Drivers will line up on the grid in a staggered (F1-style) order, with a car length gap between each car and multiple car lengths left between the two classes.
48
The official race starter will verify everyone is in an adequate position then place a sticky bomb near the start of the grid. When this sticky bomb explodes the race has begun.
49
50
Start Position
51
Before each race there will be a 1 lap non-contact qualifier to determine starting position (warm up lap, hot lap, cool down lap). Cars in GT4 must slow down enough to allow all vehicles to finish the race and have lap times recorded.
