The goal is to offer OARC senior members a competitive road/track race series not based entirely on pace, and an incentive to participate in multiple events over the year

Rules

You must be an OARC member to score points

Eligible races are: Kirkwall, Shapinsay, Stromness and Dounby 10ks, Kirkwall Half Marathons, OARC run 5000m and 10000m events, Run St. Magnus, Harray Half

Other races locally will be added if organised and licenced

Individuals cannot win the league in consecutive years (but can still compete!)

Participating in a race3pts

Setting a season's best after your first event1pt

Beating your time in the same race last year1pt
13
Setting a personal best over this distance1pt
Personal bests will need to be claimed as we don't have full records for everyone!

Volunteering at an event2pts

Running an event at marathon distance +1pt
So 4pts for St Magnus Marathon, 3 for relay
