This is a market analysis of analytics/content analysis tools for YouTube streamers. I produced the list by finding two lists of tools and combining them. I also searched the /r/youtubers for discussions about tools.

Market Trends
29
There are multiple tools that let brands manage their content in one place and publish to Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, etc. There are others that specialize in analyzing performance of posts/videos. There are others, like TubeBuddy/VidIQ/FanFuel that provide content recommendations.

A/B testing that lets you compare the CTR % of one thumbnail/Title, in contrast to another Thumbnail/Title
35
I wish that you could upload licenses for music ahead of time so that copyright claims don’t just sit there waiting for the author to approve. I know YouTube claims videos are in escrow but I honestly don’t know if I’ve ever seen the money generated during the copyright claim limbo.

Key Takeaways and Recommendations
39
There are many tools for Youtube analytics, the market seems crowded. I suspect that many of them just ingest data from the YouTube API and do some aggregation and then display that aggregation in a chart. It's hard to measure the impact on the success of youtubers provided by any of these tools. Tools like TubeBuddy seem better, where they make specific recommendations. There are many youtubers on the long tail that can't justify spending money on a tool without a clear benefit.
40
I would not recommend a monthly subscription model for our tool given that we may only have 90 days. Instead I'd suggest building something that has a one time license cost and focus on making it viral.
41
I'd suggest we find something that would appeal to youtubers who are not making an income. E.g. something that they can use to make better content but that does not require us to maintain it for them. The existing entries here, e.g. SuperViral (not launched) and FanFuel, generate ideas, but the ideas seem a little silly.
