12017-02-13On Page 1 of the RFP it says the RFI Deadline is February 27. Do you mean the deadline to ask questions is 2/27 or is there a separate RFI document that we need to fill out and submit by 2/27?The last day to submit an RFI question to the district will be February 27, 2017. This will allow the district to provide all respondents with the answers with sufficeint time for vendors to complete their proposal by the March 15, 2017 submission.

22017-02-13With regards to the WAN you have a circuit to connect to RCOE as part of your WAN. Is this circuit being used to provide internet services to the district? Does this circuit need to be included in the bid? In other words will you be putting out a separate 470 for Internet services in which this circuit could be included there instead?The fiber connection from 350 W. Brookside Ave and Riverside County of Education location on 13 street is a transport circuit to allow connection to RCOE and be a part of the K12HSN node that is available via RCOE. An addendum is forth coming to allow respondents to not include this connection as part of this response. The district intends on submitting a seperate 470 for Internet services provider

32017-02-14In your RFP, it lists 3 schools with (2) 1gbps connections. Are you looking for 1 or 2 circuits at these locations?Currently, each of these sites has 2 circuits providing each 1 gbps connection totalling 2 gbps for that site. The district is requesting responses to provide each of these locations with 2 gbps of bandwidth dedicated to that site within the WAN network

42017-02-16 Is it primarily the intent of the district to have separate switching infrastructure for VoIP?For the Hosted VoIP solution, the district desires the solution to be on a seperate switch infrastructure than the current Network the district uses for normal data usage. The Hosted VoIP

52017-02-16Is the awarded VoIP vendor required to provide cabling to handsets or is there sufficient existing cabling?While the switching infrastructure must be independent, the cabling within the school sites can be used to connect each rooms ports to either the distirct data infrastructure or the Hosted VoIP infrastructure equipment.

62017-02-16Are we able to make use of the district's WAN to provide voice access from a single dedicated circuit or are we required to have a different circuit at every location?The district desires that the Hosted VoIP system not use the district's existing WAN infrastructure and be independent to the effect of being on it's own circuit per site or WAN to avoid impacting bandwidth usage for the sites.
