Each day, a student has to spend ₹80, which totals ₹2400 per month. • Despite our repeated requests to the administration for a timely bus service, including a proposal to pay the bus fees individually, we were met with hostility and told that there are no available funds. 2. Extra Fee for Cooler Maintenance • In the summer, students who wish to arrange their own coolers are instructed to pay ₹3000 per month for electricity • When students approached the administration to discuss this fee, they were met with rude comments and were scolded in an effort to silence them • But at the end of the day they didn’t give any kind of permission as the students raised a point that many other medical colleges permitting such appliances 3. Monthly once outing for Girls • All the girls are having permission of going outing only once a month. If they utilise this outing in a month then they will not be given any permission to go again in the same month. 4. Inadequate Faculty • The entire microbiology department is managed by a single associate professor, with no Head of Department or additional professors. • Not every student will understand the material presented by a single teacher. Therefore, having multiple teachers in a department can facilitate better learning. Students can reach out to different teachers to seek help with topics they find difficult to grasp. 5. Uniform for all the MBBS students in the college • All the students have been strictly instructed to wear the uniform which isn’t there for any other Government Medical Colleges • As we the students have wore uniforms till 12th and as we enter a professionally college we want to wear formals of our choice. Even the normal degree and diploma students aren’t having any kind of uniform. • When students denied the uniform then the faculty has warned them of dentention. 6. Targeting the students who raise their voice for the facilities • Students who voice concerns about facilities are often targeted by faculty members and made to feel embarrassed in front of their peers. Some faculty even state, “Your academics are in our hands.” 7.Rudeness from Administration • Students who attempt to express their problems and make valid points are often met with shouting from the administration, discouraging them from addressing issues in the future. When requests are made for facilities, the administration responds aggressively. • If we ask any kind of facility they will be shouting at us and saying we don’t have any kind of these facilities during our days and finally won’t give any permission. 8.Mess facilities • Although students write the mess menu, it is frequently altered by the administration. Since students pay the mess fee, they should have a say in the menu, but this is not honored. 9.Hostel and Drinking water Facilities • We don’t have any permanent hostels. Boys are provided with a hostel with 4 floors but none of the floor have any tiles. Each and every floor is having just cement coating as the floor. And many students are facing a lot of dust allergies due to this. • There are no shelves in the boys hostel. Upon asking they’ve provided a single rack in which 5-6 members should adjust in it. • With only two water dispensers for the entire boys’ hostel, when requests were made for additional dispensers, students were met with rude responses and told that there were no funds for even basic facilities. 10. No E-Library • For the past two years, we have been paying ₹2000 in fees for an E-Library, totaling ₹6,00,000 over two batches. However, we still do not have access to any E-Library at our college. | ||||||||||
