How to participate in our Peasant tournaments ?
7
8
All the peasant tournaments are international, so the used language is English, and played on the free software Cockatrice.
9
We use for our tournament the server "Rooster Ranges" and port 4747.
10
There are three types of tournaments organised by Mtg-Peasant : Pool tournaments, 16 Men and 8 Men. You can subscribe to any number of tournaments. Please just make sure you have enough time to play the requisite amount of games.
11
To subscribe to any tournament you just need to fill the Excel registration file with your pseudo on Cockatrice AND your hash (code of the deck in Cockatrice).

Pool Tournaments
14
15
These are the only tournaments that start at a specific date. The tournament has a minimum of twelve players.
16
The tournament runs down in two phases of approximatively one week each.
17
In the first phase, players must confront each player from their pool. The best two of each pool will be on the final pool. Tie breakers are :
18
1) game wins – game losses (all matches included)
19
2) game wins – game losses (counting only matches between tied players).
20
3) random
21
If there are 6 players in the final pool, the match from the elimination pool must be replayed, else we report the previous score. (Which is visible in the google.doc)
22
If there are 8 players in the final pool, there are some matchups that are not being played (marked with an X) in order to finish the tournament faster.
23
Draws are allowed in this tournament. A game must be done in 1 hour and 5 additionnal turns. There are no tie breakers.
24
25
16 Men and 8 men
26
27
A 16 men tournament begins as soon as the sixteen players are subscribed. After the beginning of the tournament, no modification of hash is allowed.
28
It's the same principle for the 8 men, just with only 8 players.
29
Draws are not allowed in these tournaments. A match must be done in 1 hour and 5 additional turns. The calculation of time starts as soon as the match starts. When you reached 1 hour of matchtime, you need to inform your opponent that the extraturns will start now. Your opponent must agree, and you need to keep track of the extraturns. Tie breakers are:
30
- The player with the highest life count wins the game (poison counters don't matter)
31
- If it's still a tie, players continue to play until the first variation of life (so the first player who gains life wins the game / the first player who loses life loses the game)
32
33
How to play
34
35
Everybody is responsible to play their games in time. In order to find a timeframe with your opponent, you should share the date when you are available to play on the discord channel, in the forum or via private messages. If you don't communicate and don't play you will have a game loss. PLEASE DO COMMUNICATE WITH THE OTHER PLAYERS. We organise these tournaments ourselves as hobbies and only by communicating we can make them work.
36
When you create a game the hands of the players must be hidden. Spectactors can watch the game or not, that's your choice.
37
When someone is afk for any reasons, the time stops. If the player leaves the game, you must wait 15 minutes, if he doesn't come back he has a game loss.
38
If your opponent slow plays, you can ask some other peasant player to prove and report it.
39
If a player wants to drop the tournament or can't play during a week, he must tell it on the respective topic on mtg-peasant.com. Please don't let your opponents wait for nothing.
40
Don't forget to share the archetype you played at the end of the tournament and if you are in the top for statistics, share your decklist on the respective topic on mtg-peasant.com.
