|American Legion Americanism & Government Test||9/2/16||Wisconsin students in grads 10 thru 12 take the on-line Americanism and Government Scholarship test during a 2-week window in April. This is a timed test and is available online. Students are tested on their knowledge of U. S. Government, Wisconsin Government, County Government, the Constitution and flag etiquette. |American Legion Oratorical Scholarship Program||9/18/17||Participants in the American Legion Oratorical Contest will present a speech related to the United States Constitution, 8-10 minutes in length. |UHAA Scholarship||9/18/17||The United Hmong American Association (UHAA) Scholarship is a local scholarship established to provide assistance to Hmong high school graduates who plan to pursue higher education. The purpose of this scholarship is to contribute to the academic and leadership development of Hmong youth that will enable them to be future leaders of their communities. Scholarship Award: Four (4) $500 scholarships are awarded to four high school graduates and two (2) schorlaships are also awarded to two college students. The selection committee evaluates all applicants on the basis of academic achievements and demonstration of leadership skills through letters of recommendations and essays.
