I liked this book because it was filled with plot twists and surprises that kept me interested, the suspense throughout each chapter kept me turning the page wondering what would happen.
3	Abner and Me	Dan Gutman	Fiction	Adventure & Thriller;Historical Fiction;	This book is about a young boy who has the power to go back in time with baseball cards, so he does to see if Abner really created baseball and how.	I like this book because it's about baseball and I like baseball. I have baseball cards like him. Me and the main character have a lot in common.

I like this book because it has to do with a lot of stuff that I'm relating to and it kind of helps you figure out your life.
6	An Uninterrupted View of the Sky	Melanie Crowder	Fiction	Historical Fiction	This book is about a family in Bolivia that is a victim of corruption and the Bolivian Government. Francisco and his family get throw in prison but Fransisco’s mother left them for dead. After a week Fransisco meets Soledad and they become best friends. His father buys tickets for them to go to the Andes Mountains to live with their grandma and get away from the corrupted Bolivia.	I like this book because it has soccer which is one of my favorite sports. He has many friends and his life is pretty like our lives until his father is in jail. It is a nice book to read.
7	Anatomy: A Love Story	Sana Schwartz	Fiction	Romance	In the 19th century, a young girl is set on becoming a surgeon, even if it means practicing on the bodies of the recently buried. She meets a handsome body snatcher or resurrection man who knows just where to dig up bodies.	I love how she will go to no cost to be a surgeon.
8	Astronaut Academy: Zero Gravity	Dave Roman	Fiction	Science Fiction	The book is mainly about a boy who is a galactic hero who goes to a new space school his name is Hakata Soy. He has to face many hardships such as an evil robot clone who is trying to find and destroy him and him simply trying to go to school like a normal kid. But the book also follows other characters that are in the story and shows different point of views aboutlife in space.	I like this book because it gives many different perspectives inside and outside of Astronaut Academy. I also like the book because of the conflicts are relatable to a middle schooler.

Draper	Fiction	Realistic Fiction	An engaging look into the life Isabella, a 12-year-old who finds herself divided between her divorced parents, spending different weeks with her white mom and her black dad.	I like this book because the book covers topics like racism, black poetry, divorce and even uses vocabulary words that little kids would love to show off their parents.

Because of discrimination against Black people, he was treated very poorly. He decided to run away and find himself as a person.	I like this book because it shows a realistic point of view from a child who faced hardships and discrimination.

15	Concrete Rose	Angie Thomas	Fiction	Realistic Fiction	This story is about 17 year old Maverick Carter struggling in his city to raise 1 kid. His dad is in jail and he's desperately trying to get out of his gang situation.	I like this book because it has a lot of drama in it and it's interesting to read and experience along with the main characters.

17	Every Last Word	Tamara Ireland Stone	Fiction	Young Adult Fiction;Mental Health;Romance	A girl, Samantha McAllister, struggles with OCD. She looks just like the rest of the popular girls in her grade. But she has dark thoughts and worries that she can't stop them.	It has topics that need to be approached. I relate to this book and the romance in the book is really cute.
18	Fairest Of All	Serena Valentino	Fiction	Fantasy;Mystery & Suspense	This book tells what made the Evil Queen Evil. It explains her backstory and life before the traditional tale we know and explains it in her POV.	I like this book because I love Disney Villans and it was a very fast read for me. It was also very easy to read and helped explain things that were in the movie that weren't elaborated on.
19	Finding Perfect	Elly Swartz	Fiction	Realistic Fiction	Finding Perfect is about a girl named Molly Nathans with OCD. She never realized she had OCD but when she figures it out, she keeps it a secret.	I like Finding Perfect because it is a powering book with a lot of informative details.

Ghost joins a track team and has to prepare for a track meet which are competitions where teams compete to win. Ghost who has trauma from his dad chasing him and his mom holding a gun and that night was the fastest he ran.	I like this book because its a part of a series in which each book talks about different serious topics. This one specifically shows how much trauma can change you, and how you can use experiences to learn and do better. I like this book because it's not always about the main character, but all the characters have their moments in the book such as the coach, Ghost's track mates and even a store owner gets his moment in the book.

However, the story is ultimately about her journey of finding hope and healing. It is raw and intense but full of moments with resilience and strength.	I liked this book because it tackles themes of resilience, self discovery, and healing. The writing perfectly captures Charlie's journey and the struggles she faces.
24	Gravity Falls: Journal 3 special edition	Alex Hirsch	Fiction	Mystery & Suspense; Mythology; Fantasy;Comedy	This book in simplicity is about the findings and or writings of the main character Ford Pines through his journey as a "supernatural anomalies" researcher.	While also being faithful adaptation of the original book it still stands alone as a great book separate from its source material separate from the show and was a great read for fans of mystery, comedy and or the source material.

I liked the book because it had thrill adventure and most times you didn't know what was next.
26	Ground Zero	Alan Grantz	Fiction	Historical Fiction	The book is about how a kid named Brandon was in the Twin Towers when the towers collapsed, and there is a girl named Reshma that lived in Afghanistan and is experiencing bombing when a wounded soldiers seeks refuge.	I like this book because it provides historical context of what happened, and the book is really detailed.

After getting a stomach bug, she begins to struggle with a sensitive stomach, anxiety, panic attacks, and a mean girl in school.	I like the book Guts because it shows how Ranina can deal with a lot of things at once like moving houses and having anxiety as she starts fifth grade.

I like this book because I had many self-connections throughout the book, and I found it very interesting.
29	HistorySmashers: plauges and pandemics	Kate Messner	Nonfiction	Science	This book is about plauges and pandmics from BC to now. It talks about people's beliefs in cures since they didn't have medicine back then and the myths that they had as well. Basically they give you the informathion about the virus and then move on to the fun things like the comic strips and funfacts.	It makes learning history fun by giving you fun facts and myth or comic strips and in my opinion it has just enought of thoses to keep you hooked and interested
30	How You Ruined My Life	Jeff Strand	Fiction	Comedy;Realistic Fiction	This book was about a boy named Rodney whose cousin has to live with him for few months so his parents can go on a vacation.	I like the book because it is pretty funny and very relatable.
31	Hunter x Hunter	Yoshihiro Togashi	Fiction	Adventure & Thriller;Mystery & Suspense	Hunter X Hunter is a book about becoming hunter but first they have to go through 5 challenges to get your hunter ID.	I like Hunter X Hunter because it's filled with adventure and mystery it also can be surprising when you least expect it.

It shows how he survives along with his uncle, dad and other people.	It allows me to learn about this event in a different view.

I like this book because it has many mysteries and it makes you think about what actually happened on the Titanic back then other than the fact it sank.

In the end there is a huge plot twist.	I like this book because it relates to me somewhat since I will be going into high school in a few years.
35	I'm Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter*	Erika Sánchez	Nonfiction	Self-Help	The main character is going through a hard time accepting the fact that her sister is dead.	This book is great in comedy, denial and more but I love the book because its mostly how the character is always causing problems and how she could never be her older sister who was a role model to a lot of people.
36	Left Out	Tim Green	Nonfiction	Realistic Fiction	Left Out is about a kid named Landon, who has cochlear implants. Landon like all kids has a dream, a dream to play football. But due to his mother and his disability he is given a hard time to be able to join. He soon joins the team but is made fun of by his teammates and has trouble fitting. But, he found a way and starts gaining respect.	I like the book because I am that type of person looking for a book that has a hobby of mine or something that I enjoy mixed with something else. Left Out had football in it, which is my number one sport, and hardships and bullying.
37	Lie to Me*	Kaitlin Ward	Fiction	Mystery & Suspense; Romance;Young Adult Fiction;Mental Health	Lie to Me by Kaitlin Ward is a mystery book about a girl names Amelia who fell off a bridge. She keeps on trying to figure out how, but the more she knows, she gets scared. She doesn't trust people as much as she used to. She never expected who it was at the end.	I like this book because when Amelia was trying to find who it was, I was also trying to find out who it was.
38	Lifeboat 12	Susan Hood	Nonfiction	Historical Fiction	Kids in World War II wanted to be free from all the danger going on, so they signed up to be on a boat at sea for 5 months. Ken, the main character, loved the luxurious boat. But, one night the boat started sinking. Ken looked for a lifeboat and found Lifeboat 12. There is only 8 days of supplies like food and water for the people on Lifeboat 12 to survive. But they are stranded. Ken doesn't know if him and everyone else would make it out alive.	This book had a lot of twist and turns that left me shocked. It is a great book for people wanting to turn about what may have happened in World War II.

I liked this book because it showed what harsh times war brought and it showed even if you come from opposite sides you can work to together to get through this.

I like this book because it also explains how to live a minimalist lifestyle. A minimalist lifestyle is living without having a lot. I like this book because I like to read realistic books about real events that happened.

It helped me through a hard time and had shown me a lot about caring for the people around me and a reminder that my time limited.

It's thrilling action packed, and it has lots of suspense.

But then something happens, Zeus' lightning bolt has been stolen and Zeus thinks that it is Poseidon's son, Percy. To prove that he didn't steal it, Percy has to go on a mission to find with his two friends, Grover and Annabeth.	I like this book because it makes you always want to turn the page. The thrilling and suspenseful parts in this book are ones that I will never forget. It is targeted to an audience my age (12) and will make you want to read the other books that are in the Percy Jackson trilogy or other book from the author.

Micheal and his family gather information about battle plans and the state of the German Government. Eventually Micheal becomes friends with the son of a warplane manufacturer. Micheal hangs out at his home but he secretly steals blueprints for warplanes. Micheal is caught stealing the blueprints and must evade capture.	I like this book because I enjoy historical fiction books and because the book is interesting and fast paced.

61	Revenge, Ice Cream and Other Things Best Served Cold	Katie Finn	Fiction	Young adult literature	Gemma and Hallie were friends until they wanted to get revenge from each other. Gemma eventually finds out that Hallie was the one that stole teddy from Gemma as well as play pranks on her all summer which made her get very mad. This is when Gemma starts/ wants to get revenge on Hallie for what she did. But instead, she was forced to get a job which is scooping ice cream all day long because her dad forced her to do it so her plan went down the grain. After a while Gemme realizes her crush for a long time Ford, is back in the Hamptons. And on top of that Josh won't even talk to Gemma because she lied to him. Now, Gemma starts to pull pranks on Hallie that are hurting the both of them and making things worse. On top of all of this, at the end, Hallie and Gemma find out they are sisters.	The reason why I like this book is because of the drama that is going on and it was nice to see them get back at each other.

One day during a storm every adult is struck by lighting and all die leaving every boy free on an island to themselves. Unexpected freedom also led to unexpected dangers. Jonathan has to accept his sins of the past if he's going to lead his friends to safety.	I really like this book because you never know what is going to happen next and it gives a sense of mystery and of adventure.

64	Schooled	Gordon Korman	Fiction	Realistic Fiction	So, this hippie kid named Capricorn "Cap" Anderson is homeschooled, but after his grandma falls out of a plum tree, he gets a shot at real school.	My favorite thing about this book is the middle. So Capricorn and his friends all help a bus driver having a heart attack. Now a 12-year-old boy is driving a school bus to the nearest hospital with a parade of cops on them.

I like this book because it tells me how Phil Knight ( The founder) and Nike became so successful.
66	Survived Hurricane Katrina, 2005	Lauren Tarshis	Nonfiction	Historical Fiction	The book is about a young boy named Barry getting separated from his family during hurricane Katrina and surviving all that happens to him within the three days that he was separated from them. The book is about what a family went through during a real life hurricane that devastated their town.	I like the book because I like to read realistic fiction, the reason I like realistic fiction is because I like to see pictures of what I am reading. I also like to learn about different events that happen in the world.
67	Sweet Valley Twins: Best Friends	Nicole Andelfinger and Claudia Aguirre	Fiction	Young Adult Fiction	It is about two twin girls who have very different personalities and they both like different things. One is all about makeup and being popular and the other is all about the school newspaper and not being so popular. they are so different that they are always fighting.	I like this book because the book wants you to read more. You never know what is about to happen next and that is why I love it.

69	The Art of Keeping Cool	Janet Taylor Lisle	Fiction	Historical Fiction;Realistic Fiction	It's about a boy, (Robert) whose father leaves for War (WWII) leaving behind his wife, daughter, and son. Without their father as the head of the household the family cannot sustain their farm. The family moves in with their father's Parents in Rhode Island, however there is a unspoken rule in the house, NEVER SPEAK OF THEIR FATHER.	It takes place during the great war, and this family's fictional narrative may be the real narrative of another. The book can be very ominous in some parts forcing you to continue reading.
70	The Benefits of Being an Octopus	Ann Braden	fiction	Realistic fiction	Seventh-grader Zoey has her hands full as she takes care of her much younger siblings after school every day while her mom works her shift at the pizza parlor. At school, Zoey tries to stay under the radar. Her only friend Fuchsia has her own issues, and since they're in an entirely different world than the rich kids, it's best if no one notices them. Zoey thinks how much easier everything would be if she were an octopus: eight arms to do eight things at once. Unfortunately, she's not totally invisible, and one of her teachers forces her to join the debate club. Even though Zoey resists participating, debate ultimately leads her to see things in a new way. It also shows how quickly things can change and to always be grateful for what you have before you lose it and it shows how things that may not seem important to us, are important to us, such as a sweet little calico cat.

I like this book because it has suspense to it and it is a mystery about whether or not Xan will figure out a way to get rid of Luna’s powers or get them under control.

The story is about two friends that want to be on the same team but one is way better than the other. Seth (the worse one) continued to stride and become better and eventually made it up to the varsity team with his friend Jimmy. Later in the book there was some drama because Jimmy was drinking because he was depressed which made Seth upset because he didn't want to see that happen to his friend. Sadly, at the end of the book Jimmy ends up crashing his car a passing away. This is all about the book I read.	I like a lot of things about this book. The reason I chose this book was because it was about baseball. Another reason was because I read the summary page on the back, and it seemed like a book that I would be interested in. Lastly, I like this book because every chapter had me more excited for the next.

I like this book because I relate to the characters such as Jack Sulivan since he is courageous like me. Also, there is a lot of fun moments and adventures that were very interesting to me.

A tragic accident takes their moms life so then one sister moves in with the dad and the other sister. The sister that moves in with the dad, is named Iris. Ivy, the sister that has been living with her dad, notices that Iris acts weird and does a lot of strange and somewhat creepy things. Ivy tells her dad and teachers what Iris has been doing, and no one really believes what Ivy is saying and they just tell her that Iris is probably just grieving and getting used to a new area. Iris tries to take Ivy's friends, her relationship with her dad away, and even her boyfriend. Iris plays with Ivy's mind and gets away with a lot of things. Later, we find out that Iris has some mental issues and was the one who killed her mother. No one knows that Iris killed her mother. Ivy keeps telling her teachers and dad the things that Iris has been doing and they still don't believe her. Ivy gets put into a mental institution because some of the things that Ivy was saying about her sister, Iris, were insane. All Ivy's teachers and friends think that Ivy going insane, and no one believes what she is saying. Iris is able to get away with everything she has done and that leaves everyone thinking that Ivy is the crazy twin, but really Iris is.	I like this book a lot because it's almost as if I am a detective and I am trying to figure out who killed the mom and who is scaring Ivy. There is a lot of mystery and suspense in this book that really gets your mind going. It's a really cool read and I recommend it. It leaves you on the edge of your seat the whole time! The book includes so many clues and little hints to things that may happen. It's very cool to be able to try and add everything up yourself and try to figure out on your own what happened. This is one of my favorite books I have ever read, and I think that a lot of others would enjoy it too.

I like this book because it falls under the genre of fantasy and adventure, the book provides a few comedic relief scenes which I really enjoy because it lets the reader soften up after a potentially harsh scene. The book is also a reasonable length as well as the chapters.

The chapters always end on cliffhangers making me want to read more and the story is overall well written.

Tally meets a girl named Shay who introduces Tally to many adventures on a hoverboard. When Tally officially turns 16, she asks a warden to turn her into a pretty.	I like this book because it builds suspense and introduces you to new vocabulary.
