1 | This list of pro sports accounts is not a true verification system (yet). It's a pet project, but one I hope will still be helpful for people looking for their favorite teams on Bluesky. | ||

3 | Accounts shown on here are believed to be the official accounts of these teams, based on posting history/frequency, handle, behavior, and other indicators (such as Bluesky moderation, which will label some accounts as " impersonation.") | ||
4 | This list does not include accounts mirroring / transcribing official Twitter accounts. | ||
5 | Three levels of confidence are listed: | ||
6 | "Moderate" indicates some amount of confidence that an account is actually an official team account. This usually means that posts are similar to Twitter, but there is something off enough (usually limited, sporadic posting) that I don't want to call it for sure. | ||
7 | "High" indicates a high amount of confidence that an account is actually an official team account. This may because posting habits are identical to Twitter, they're posting live in-game clips, they have issued a press release announcing their presence on Bluesky, or other indicators that offer a high level of confidence in the authenticity. | ||
8 | "Verified" indicates I have been able to independently verify the account. It is an official team account. If it is inactive, it will be denoted in parentheses. | ||
9 | Over time, I will try to independently verify these accounts. As I do, accounts will be marked as Verified. When I have enough, I'll begin a starter pack. | ||
