Measuring wall thickness:
1. Slice any flat walled calibration cube in vase mode and enter the filament diameter and line width, as set in your slicer, below.
2. Print the part and measure all four wall thicknesses and record a typical value below (pick the most common value measured, or use a rough average).

Using the output in your slicer:
In your slicer either set the flowrate OR use the "effective diameter" as the filament diameter - your printer will now extrude the amount of plastic the slicer expects it to!
The down side to this approach is that you cannot use the measured diameter of your filament in your slicer, you will need to perform this calibration for every material at best, every spool at worst.

Permanently adjusting your printers calibration:
Issue your printer the M503 command and locate the line which indicates your current ESteps per mm - M92 ... Exxx.xxx
Enter this value in the sheet below
Copy the gcode command in this sheet (in green) and paste it into your terminal and send it to your printer.
This setting will be forgotten by your printer when it is powered off - to record this value permanently send your printer the M500 command.
If you run the same calibration print again the wall thickenss should measure correctly - no messing with flow rates or setting arbitrary filament diameters!

Klipper Users: Enter the current step_distance under the [extruder] section of your printer.cfg in the Current Klipper steps and then change it to the new Klipper steps after calculation
