MAWAISNO---------I don't think EdShare would pass the notability guidelines required by Wikipedia administration and such an entry would likely be removed.
The tool I work on, EdShare is an institution level educational tool and is unlikely to be of use to individual educators. Most of our users approach us after seeing out flagship repository, Humbox.

YUWAISNO---NOYes. I am not sure which one as I don't know the educational tools registry very much. But I think get it registered can bring more users.Maybe you should give us a link of example educational tools registry website?

MIGSICNO---Cool tools for schools, SchoolForge, OntoolsearchI would be keen to publish my tools in any educational registry that actually increases the visibility of my tools within its target community provided that the effort required to publish them and keep the information updated is not excessive and that the publication is free. I would be highly motivated to publish my tools since the proposed scenario meets the criteria that I mentioned in my previous answer (increased visibility, affordable effort to publish and update information, free).

EDGSICSome of them are published in tool registries and some other are notNone that I did the publishing. I've developed a tool that is published in Ontoolsearch, but I didn't do the publishing (neither requested it). Guillermo Vega did it because of his own interest (of course, I don't object).I know of the existence of "Cool Tools For Schools" and "Top 100 Tools for Learning", but I haven't visited them.

EduTech Wiki is not a tool registry, but a wiki encyclopedia on educational technology. As such, it describes tools, but also many other items, such as theories, patterns...
For my tool, Quest, not now, because I'm willing to abandon it. But at some point in time it would have been nice. I believe it would be nice as a way to advertise some of the other tools developed in my group, as well as provide a clear description of what the tool does and does not.
