Life Balance Wheel ยท How to Use This Tool
2
3
A practical self-assessment for living and leading in balance.
4
This tool turns six honest scores into one picture you can act on. Plan for about fifteen minutes the first time. As you enter scores, the wheel updates automatically. Look at the shape, not just the numbers. A round-ish wheel rolls smoothly. A lopsided wheel costs you energy.
5
6
THE FIVE STEPS
7
1Identify Your Top Six
8
Pick the six areas of life that matter most right now and enter them on the Your Wheel tab. The Input Options tab has suggestions if you want a starting point. Customize the names so they fit your life, not someone else's checklist.
9
10
2Rate Your Satisfaction
11
Score each category 1 to 10 based on the past two to four weeks. Trust your first instinct. If you're stuck between two numbers, pick the lower one. Honest scores beat aspirational ones.
12
13
3Plot Your Wheel
14
The wheel fills in automatically as you enter scores. Look at the shape, not just the numbers. A round-ish wheel rolls smoothly. A lopsided wheel tells you where the friction is.
15
16
4Reflect on the Gaps
17
Identify your lowest score and enter it in the Reflect section. If a tie exists, choose only one category to act on right now. Spreading effort across two gaps usually closes neither.
18
19
5Commit to Action
20
Pick one focus category. Choose one habit and one boundary you can hold for thirty days. Block two short windows on your calendar. Effort gets results.

TIPS FOR HONEST SCORING
23
24
9-10Strong and stable. This area would survive a stressful week.
25
7-8Good, but vulnerable. Under pressure, this is the first thing that slips.
26
5-6Mixed. Some weeks fine, some weeks not. No clear pattern.
27
3-4Weak and affecting other areas. The gap is real and you feel it.
28
1-2Critical. Ignoring this longer will cost you.
29
30
Open the Your Wheel tab to start. Complete all light-gold shaded cells. (See Personal and Career examples)
