Data import template

This is the data import template. Feel free to use this template (make a local copy or download) as a guide on how you should format your data in preparation to the different data import type.

You will find examples of how to format the different kinds of data imports Membrain provides in the sheets of this document.

Note: there are additional comments/notes in some of the column headers which might provide some additional information/clarification.

We have marked the columns headers representing mandatory data with green,

and columns headers representing optional or recommended data with yellow.

Please observe that additional columns can be imported as long as their respective fields are created in Membrain.

You do not need to map every column to a Membrain field as long as all mandatory columns/fields have been mapped.

If you are working with a document containing multiple sheets, make sure to move the sheet you want to import the import data to the far left (first in order) before you save and upload your document to the import page in Membrain.
